Owner

I began in the wedding business in 2002 as a wedding photographer and Forever I Do Weddings’ only full time wedding planner growing and elevating the company to plan over 400 events in one year alone. I became one the co-owners of the original company in 2005 which soon became a multi-award winning office. In late 2014, my dad and I became the sole owners.

I lead our wedding planning team and am a published professional photographers. I earned the title of Professional Bridal Consultant with the world recognized Association of Bridal Consultants and am a member of the international networking group, BNI, where I have been Chapter President in the Success Partners of Fort Walton Beach chapter and have recently become a director.

I have a huge a passion for the wedding industry as it fulfills both my artistic and detail-oriented sides of my personality. I love working in my community which has enabled me to work with local Air Force Squadrons and local school activities. My  skills have helped forge strong relationships with premier wedding venues and other wedding industry professionals which have helped to ensure the best options for my clients during their wedding planning.

I was a scholarship student and then professional ballerina with the Northwest Florida Ballet. I attended OWCC now known as Northwest Florida State College and later became a professional ballroom competitor and instructor with Fred Astaire Dance Studios earning titles in Cabaret, Theatre Arts and American style rhythm. As an instructor in one of the nation’s top schools, I have been fortunate to participate in specialized management training in business and hospitality management which was integral in helping me to make my family’s company the success it has become.

I live in Fort Walton Beach with my husband, Jerry. We have two amazing daughters: Sydney Scott with husband, Noah, and Chloe Valverde with husband, Eric. I enjoy spending time with my family, being active in my church, and participating with continuing advance education to hone my craft of wedding planning and photography. One of my goals is to create an advocacy group against elder abuse.
